Baby girl

Sometimes people mistake Taylee for a boy. I take full blame. I rarely put a bow or headband on her. I mean, if a heandband left an indentation on YOUR head like it does on hers (above), do you think you would want to wear them? Heck no. So once in awhile, I put one on for a few hours, but I just feel bad that it might be squeezing her brain, so I end up taking it off. I think that makes me a nice mom.

Taylee and Grandma Gwen. Just a little preview of Halloween costume pics. I think dressing little kids like animals might be one of my favorite things to do. It makes me laugh pretty hard.

Taylee is the sweetest, calmest, happiest baby! She just smiles, laughs, coos, barfs, eats, and sleeps. She lights up the room with her infectious smile, and really is just super chill. We are so lucky to have her in our family!

100% Boy

This is Parker on a little hike in Snow Canyon. His favorite movie lately is How to Train Your Dragon. He carries this tool or a spatula around to "kill dragons" pretty much all day. Hide yo children and hide yo wives cause this boy is a fierce dragon slayer.
Can you say Clay's mini-me or what

Clay absolutely loves when he gets home and Parker's hands and face are covered in dirt and snot. It means "he's had a fun day."
Parker has been living up to everything I've heard about two year olds and tantrums. But he is such a sweet boy too. The other day I was getting his lunch ready and he said "Some boys can't find their food." I was pretty confused until I realized he was remembering how I'll tell him we need to be grateful for our food because some people don't have food. It made me laugh, and I said "You are right, that's why we tell Heavenly Father thanks for the food and to bless those who don't have enough food." He said "Jesus will find their food and give it to them." Awwww, cute. He has heard Clay call Taylee "cue ball," and now he calls her "cute ball" all the time. He loves cars, trucks, tractors, dirt, bikes, and loves to have us read books to him. He surprises us all the time with how much of a book he has memorized. Cute kid.

Then there were Two!

These two cuties love each other. Parker can be throwing a great 2-year old tantrum and turn it off immediately if we bring Taylee in the room. And Taylee laughs at everything Parker does, like stepping on her stomach, blowing on her nose, etc.

Trying out the double chariot that Clay got for a screamin deal on Craigslist. I think once she can sit up better, she'll like it more. Parker is always so helpful to stuff her binkie back in her face.

Although some days I want to stick my head in the ground and leave it there for a few days, I really love these sweet munchkins.

Lovin this girl

This little lady started smiling when she was about 4 weeks and hasn't stopped since. She is the cutest!

Brian got himself a wife

Parker, Preston, Charlie, and Ashton on the Logan Temple grounds

Gettin rich off all those coins people throw in

Cute Brian and Kassidee
And their eight kids. Ha! I love it, Brian is totally cracking up and Kassidee doesn't look too amused with this particular photo choice. Welcome to the crazy fam!

Jayne, Audrey, Drew, and Parker hunting for golf balls with Grampa Allen. Yes, on the golf course. Yep, in broad daylight. Nope, no injuries.

I think this is the time when I was trying to get Drew and Parker to look at me so I said something about a shark in the water.... thus Drew's concerned expression.

All the Christensen grandkids

More summer

The beautiful Grandma Gwen and Taylee

Parker getting his fix on the tractor

Both the Vauses and the Christensens went to Park City for family trips this year. Good thing it is a fun place!
Three little ladies. After starting off with 5 boys in a row, the Vause side was in need of some of these sweet little gals.
Nothing beats my mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies.

4th of July-Eden style

I'm not a fan of huge crowds, so this is exactly my kind of parade....a firetruck, a few 4-wheelers, and a bunch of kids on their bikes.
Sam, Parker, Preston, and Alex

Parker had the time of his life and has been asking to be in another parade ever since

Asi que es

It has been a great summer, back and forth from st george to up north. Even crazier with two munchkins now but it's been fun. Now school is back in. And the only thing that means for me at this point in my life is that the dang school zone by my house is slowing me down to 20 mph at all hours of the day. I'm sure in a few years, it will mean a little more, but for now, that's it.
Swimming at Grandma Gwen's

Parker LOVES his sister, and who can blame him? She is such a chill baby, we love her too!

Who knew sparklers could bring so much joy to a kid?

A New Munchkin

Taylee Jo took her sweet time, but finally showed up on June 13 at 12:22 am. She weighed in at 8 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long. The labor and delivery went great and we are excited to have her here!

Parker loves her. He kisses her a million times a day and laughs his little head off when she has the hiccups or makes noises.
