Remember the very first time your dad ever took you longboarding? Me neither. Mostly likely not because I was too little, but because I'm pretty sure it never happened. I mean, let's be honest here, how many of us can picture our dads longboarding? It's quite a comical mental picture to me. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad, and he is good at a LOT of things. However, longboarding is not one of those things. I'm pretty sure about this, but who knows now, with all the kids out of the house, it could be his new hobby of choice....right.

Anyway, it was a beautiful spring day (sorry if you don't live in st george and its still winter where you are, I really empathize) and we went to our church parking lot to take Parker longboarding for his first time. The good news is that there weren't any signs that said NO SKATEBOARDING, LONGBOARDING, OR ROLLERBLADING, so I didn't even feel guilty.

I think Parker loved it. It took a few minutes to get used to it, but by the end, he was just snuggling up to Clay and enjoying the ride.
I think extreme cliff jumping is the sport that Clay and Brad share. Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that is so cool. I love it! what a lucky kid!

ReplyDeleteYou know that I love you, right? And thanks for the jab about it being spring in St George. Haha. Funny.
ReplyDeleteWell really, I love you and your little family. Such cute boys, such a cute little mama. What more could you ask for? Will you please call me when you come up next? Although I'm sure you aren't anxious since it's still freakin cold here but call me.
And if not I should be passing through there in April. Maybe we could do dinner... Love, love, love, you girl.
